Erick B. Simms, Sr.

On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, Erick Brian Simms Sr., passed suddenly at the age of 45.

Erick was the son of the late Claire R. DePietro. Erick is survived by his son, Erick Simms Jr, sister Phallon Depietro, brothers Charles Appollonia, Joseph Simms and wife Coleen Simms, and Daniel Simms and wife Stephanie Simms, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Erick began his life on April 19, 1976 in Kingston NY. He worked as a Carpenter, Painter and Auto Mechanic throughout his life. Erick was a very smart, comical, fearless and crafty person. He was an avid Giants fan. He loved his family and friends, and was known to always go out of his way to lend a helping hand to his loved ones. Anyone who knew Erick will remember him for his crazy and interesting tales, loved to party, and his devotion for his family. Ericks dream one day was to move to Florida with his son, but his dream was suddenly and unexpectedly cut short. At great lengths, Erick was a devoted father to his son Erick Jr., and wanted nothing more but the best for his son. Through Erick Jr, his legacy will live on <3
