Enrico "Flip" Mastrocola passed away, at peace and with dignity, on October 28, 2011 at Kingston Hospital after a short illness. He was 89.
He was born in Brooklyn, a son of the late Joseph and Pasqualina DeLuca Mastrocola. He served in European Theater in the US Army during WW II. Mr. Mastrocola was awarded the Purple Heart, 3 Bronze Stars, Combat Infantry Badge and WW II Victory Ribbon.
A longtime area resident, Mr. Mastrocola worked for I.B.M., Kingston 35 years.
Husband of Arlene Mastrocola of High Falls, father of Wendy Mastrocola of Norcross, GA, Cathy Merritt of West Hurley, Nancy Mastrocola of Kingston, Jennifer Nolterieke of Kingston and Jeffrey Mastrocola of High Falls; brother of Camela Mastrocola and Florence Bird, both of Lorene, TX and the late Frank, Daniel, August and Louis Mastrocola, Rose Davino and Catherine Lucas; grandfather of Nina, Emily, Laura, Jack and Jacob, uncle to several nieces and nephews.
The funeral arrangements are private.
