Emma Overbaugh Aduchefsky

Emma Overbaugh Aduchefsky of Tietjen Avenue, Kingston died Friday, January 2, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital. She was born in Malden-on-Hudson, a daughter of the late William and Louise Francis Overbaugh. She received her Bachelors from SUNY New Paltz and Masters in Education from SUNY Albany. Mrs. Aduchefsky taught at the Kingston Consolidated Schools for many years at Kingston School #2 and Sophie G. Finn. She retired in 1983 and belonged to the NYS United Teacher's Federation. Her husband Max Aduchefsky died January 17, 2002; three brothers Russell, Jacob and Nelson Overbaugh all died previously. She is survived by many dear friends. A graveside service will be conducted at Trinity Cemetery, Route 9W, Barclay Heights on Thursday at 12:00. Cantor Robert Cohen will officiate.
