Elsie Elaine McGourty

Elsie Elaine McGourty, 81, of Kingston, NY, died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home, Lake Katrine, NY. She was born March 7, 1929 in Barbados, West Indies.

Elsie was a Cashier for The Caldor Department Store in Poughkeepsie for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed the company of her family especially her grandchildren.

Elsie is survived by her daughter Ella Panesa and her husband Paul of Kingston, NY, a son Michael McGourty and his wife Carey of Naples, FL, a sister Audrey Gill of Valdese, NC, and grandchildren Lauren Panesa of Kingston, NY, and Alyssa and Christopher McGourty of Naples, Fl.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401.

A graveside service will take place on Monday May 24th at 12 PM in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY
