Elizabeth J Dachenhausen

Elizabeth J. "Betty'' Dachenhausen, 65, of Ruby, NY, died Friday, November 5, 2010 at The Kingston Hospital. She was born December 19, 1944 in Kingston to the late Harry and Eleanor Boice.




She was married to Thomas T. Dachenhausen for 45 years, they wed on September 18th, 1965.




Betty was a graduate of Kingston High School in1962.




Betty was a home maker; she loved to baby sit, take care of children, read and shop.




In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Tammy L. Barto of Ruby, sons Thomas S. & Dean D. Dachenhausen of Ruby, a sister Louise Kloss and Al of Kingston and her brother Harry J. Boice and Dorothy of Kingston. As well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.




Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY, 12401 where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am with the Rev. John Needham officiating.




Burial will follow in Mt. Marion Cemetery.




Friends may call on Monday from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home.




The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to American Diabetes Association, New York Office, 333 Seventh Avenue, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10001
