Elizabeth I. "Tootie" Winne, 77, of Kingston, formerly of the Town of Kingston, died Friday, June 2, 2017 at Golden Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late James & Ida Ellsworth Scully. She loved the outdoors and fishing. Elizabeth is survived by eight children, Bonnie Ahrens of Catskill, Debbie Sylvester of Sawkill, Tammy Havlin of Saugerties, James Winne, Jr. of North Carolina, John Winne of North Carolina, Brenda Scott of Kerhonkson, Charlie Winne of Catskill, Traci Shultis of Sawkill, Jamie Winne of Kingston, four siblings, Richard Scully of New Paltz, Eugene Scully, Doris Schoonmaker of North Carolina and James Scully of North Carolina. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, James A. "Hoppy" Winne, Sr. a son, Todd Winne and two sisters, Anna Scully and Margaret Tallent. Elizabeth will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 5-7 PM. Interment will be privately held.
