Elinore Jacobson Kaye

Elinore Jacobson Kaye formerly of Stony Run Apartments, Kingston died Sunday, October 10, 2004 in Boca Raton, Florida. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late Max and Yetta Jacobson. For many years Mrs. Kaye, with her husband Harold, owned and operated Kaye Sportswear on North Front Street and then on Wall Street. A former member of Temple Emanuel, she worked as a teacher’s aide for Kingston City Schools Consolidated. Mrs. Kaye has resided in Boca Raton for many years. Her husband Harold “Hess” Kaye, the first Democratic Alderman at Large in the City of Kingston, died February 12, 1982. Two brothers Isadore “Ike” Jacobson and Dr. Joseph Jacobson, and two sisters Fanny Susman and Sadie Goldberg all died previously. Surviving are her son Michael Kaye of Washington, D.C.and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 12:00 at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Avenue, Rabbi Yael Romer will officiate. Interment will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
