Eleanor Zeman Rider

Eleanor Zeman Rider, of Keller Lane, Tillson died Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at Kingston Hospital. She was 71. She was born in Kingston on August 26, 1932, a daughter of the late Edward and Lilly Dahl Zeman. Formerly of New Salem, Mrs. Rider worked as an information specialist at Barclay’s Bank for 12 years. From 1986 – 1997 she worked at Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Poughkeepsie. A Tillson resident since 1957, Mrs. Rider belonged to the United Reformed Church in Bloomington, the Christian Women’s Club and the Senior Club of Rosendale. Since 1993 Mrs. Rider belonged to the Citizens for the Environment Campaign. Her husband Asa J. Rider died June 11, 2001. Mother of Mark J. Rider and his wife Jacqueline, Jed D. Rider and his wife Joelle; sister in law of Eileen Rider; grandmother of Keith, Adam, Julie, Meghan and Jessica Rider; great grandmother of MyKala and Cassandrea Rider. Several cousins also survive. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 2:30 PM at Montrepose Cemetery, Rev. Nickolas Miles will officiate. There will be no calling hours.
