Eleanor K. Vedder

Eleanor K. Vedder, 88, of Hunter St., Kingston, NY, died Monday, May 25, 2009 at her residence. She was born September 6, 1920 in Kingston, to the late Fred and Mathilda (Bilyou) Banks.

She was the wife of the late John Vedder who died on April 30th, 1999. Eleanor was a housewife and homemaker, having lived on Hunter Street for over 60 years.

Eleanor is survived by her sons Joseph Vedder, Kingston, NY, William Vedder, Kingston, Albert "Buddy" Vedder, Kingston, NY, Donald Vedder and his wife Margaret, Kingston, William Vedder, Kingston, Thomas Vedder, Kingston, Daniel Vedder and his wife Lori, Port Ewen, daughters Patricia Dallies and her husband Ernest, Kingston, Kathy Russell and her husband Robert, Kingston, Terri Peppard and her husband David, Kingston, Doreen Comerford, Virginia, 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sister of Emily Horvers, Kingston, NY, Joseph Banks, Rockville, MD., many nieces and nephews, Mother of the late Robert Vedder, Sr., John J. Lewis, sister of the late George and Earl Banks.
mother in law of Suzanne P. Lewis, Patricia D. Vedder, Donna B. Vedder, Donna Otis and Ronald Comerford.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, where services will be held on Friday at 11 am. The Rev. Gail Burger, officiating. Burial in Wiltwyck Cemetery.

The family will receive their friends on Thursday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm.
