Eileen Sparta

Eileen P. Sparta, 58, of Bapson Park, Fl, formerly of Olivebridge, died Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Albany Medical Center. Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Peter & Eileen Feeney Sparta. Eileen loved life and was a very social woman who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored. Eileen is survived by two daughters, Jessica Conklin and her husband Richard of Napanoch and Jana Mastandrea of Albany, a brother, Matthew Sparta of Bapson Park, FL, two sisters, Joanne Macula of Everett, WA and Patricia Sparta of Albany. Four grandchildren, Richie, Olivia, Jayla and A.J. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave from 1:00-2:30 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 PM. Interment will be private.
