Eileen R. Smith

Eileen R. Smith, 89, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Sunday December 4, 2016 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home in Lake Katrine. She was born December 20, 1926 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Arthur and Loretta (Ball) Miller. Eileen was predeceased by her brother Thomas A. Miller of Port Ewen and her sister Dorothy Chiappa of Bermuda. She was married to late Daniel F. Smith of Kingston.


Eileen was employed by Kingston Knitting Mills for many years and she was an avid Bingo player. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.



Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY, where friends and family may visit on Friday December 9, from 4pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's RC Church, 166 Broadway, Kingston, on Saturday December 10 at 11am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
