Edward Schukal

Edward J. Schukal, 80, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at home. He was born on November 10, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Edward and Magdalena (Tscherne) Schukal.

He retired from IBM in Kingston and then Co-Owned the English Garden Custom Picture Framing in Saugerties for 32 years. He was an incredible cook and a great dancer.

Ed is survived by his spouse, John Klimowicz, his beloved dogs, Bentley and Versace, his daughter, Alecia Brophy and her husband Thomas, his grandchildren, Ryan and Evan Brophy, Edward J. Schukal, III and his wife Diana, and Emily Schukal, his twin brother, Joseph Schukal, his sister, Frances Albert and her husband Jimmy, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ed is predeceased by his son, Edward J. Schukal, II.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Sunday March 26, 2023 from 11am to 2pm.
