Edward Paul DeMarta

Edward Paul DeMarta, 71, of Stone Ridge, NY, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at home. He was born on April 22, 1947 in the Bronx, son of the late Alfred and Anna DeMarta.

He is survived by his children, Micheal Zeretzki, Brigitte Paltridge and her husband Billy, Donna Fejzollari and her husband Leo, Lisa Lawkins and her husband Andy, (their mother, Sophia Stonick) Annalisa DeMarta and her family and Angela DeMarta, sister, Camille DeMarta, his grandchildren, Tyler Linsig, Jenna Zeretzki, Logan and Taigan Paltridge, and Olivia Lawkins and his his great grandson, Andre, his cousin, Micheal Galente and his wife Anita, his second cousins, Micheal, Angela, Gena and Dana as well as his niece and nephew, Lynne Kunze and her husband Robbie, and Josh Donn and great nieces and nephews, Micheal Nigron, CJ, Katie, and Joey Kunze, Eric and Scott Willson, and Isabel Dorn. He is also survived by his best buddy, Mango!

Ed lived between New York and Florida throughout his life. He had many great friends up and down the East-Coast., too many to mention. He was especially close with the Mulcahy, Gadonniex, and Ronda Families'. Ed had been a car salesman for many years. He had an entrepreneurial spirit, he owed many businesses over his lifetime, including a car dealership, a flower shop, and several hotdog trucks. Ed loved the ocean and sitting with his feet in the water, especially at 4:20 in the afternoon. He will forever be remembered with his larger than life personality and stories that will continue to make us laugh for years to come.
