Edward M. Davis passed away on April 18, 2011 at his residence in Leesburg, Fl. Born on May 26, 1927 in Kingston, he was the son of the late Elvin P. Davis and Rose M. Davis. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Janet T. Davis, three children: Ruth M. Quick and her husband John of Kingston, Nancy E. Quarantino of Leesburg, Fl, and Ted E. Davis and his wife Barbara of Kingston, five grandchildren: David Quick, Michael Quarantino, Taylor Davis, Alex Davis, and Michelle Davis, and one great grandson Wilson Quick.
He was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School and the University of Denver Colorado, a WWII veteran, he served in the Aleutian Islands with Army Engineers. He had been employed by IBM for 32 years. He was a member of the Hurley Reformed Church, Hidden Harbor Yacht Club, Rondout Lodge F&AM #343, and Bahia Shrine in Orlando, Fl and the Lake County Shrine Club in Tavares, Fl.
Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, services and inurnment at Wiltwyck Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Light a candle in memory of Ed at
