Edward Argulewicz of New Port Richey, Florida died May 17, 2005 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
He was born in Kingston, New York, a son of the late Adam and Josephine Madajewski Argulewicz.
A Kingston High School graduate, Edward entered the US Navy and served during WW II. On May 15, 1948 he married Celine Fenton.
Edward began his career with I.B.M. in Kingston. He then served during the Korean Conflict in the US Navy. In 1976 he was transferred to Raleigh, NC with I.B.M. where he was a manufacturing manager. He retired after 36 years and belonged to the Quarter Century Club.
In 1983 Edward and Celine moved to Phoenix, Arizona to retire. They have lived in Florda for the past 6 years.
His son, Edward Argulewicz, three sisters Florence Cifu, Jane Schryver and Mary Argulewicz, and four brothers Francis Sr., Paul, Andrew and Adam Argulewicz all died previously.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 57 years are one daughter Maryrose Hanks of Frederick, Maryland; two grandchildren Cory and Jessica Hanks; two sisters Helen Dittus of Saratoga and Josephine Naccarato of Hurley, many nieces and nephews.
Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday 6:00 - 7:30 PM. The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
