Douglas H. Renaud Jr. formerly of Melissa Road, Kingston died December 22, 2003 in Los Angeles, California. He was 27. THERE WILL BE A GRAVESIDE COMMITTAL SERVICE CONDUCTED ON TUESDAY, JULY 6TH AT 1:00 pm. ALL ARE WELCOMED TO MEET AT THE FRONT GATE OF THE MONTREPOSE CEMETERY JUST BEFORE 1:00. He was born in Kingston on July 7, 1976, a son of Douglas and Kathy Golgoski Renaud Sr. Douglas, a 1994 graduate of Kingston High School, attended Ulster Community College. An avid sportsman, for three years he played varsity soccer at Kingston High School. He was on the Town of Ulster Little League All Stars and Kingston Babe Ruth Baseball. He raced mountain bikes and enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors. A parishioner of St. John's Church, he was a former altar server. For the past several years he worked as a carpenters apprentice in the Kingston/Woodstock area. Surviving in addition his parents of Kingston are one brother Matthew M. Renaud of Hoboken, NJ; his maternal grandmother Dolores Golgoski of Kingston; his paternal grandmother Helen Mattock of Quebec, Canada; his best friend James Alleson of Kingston; aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Sunday, January 25th at 2:00 PM at St. John's Church, Holly Hills (off Route 375,) Woodstock (679-7696.) A reception followed in the social hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Douglas' memory may be made to Family of Woodstock, PO Box 3516, Kingston, NY 12402 or Ulster Co. Mental Health, PO Box 2304, Kingston, NY 12402. Doug, Kathy and Matthew thank you for your prayers, cards and support.
