Dorothy Mason

Dorothy Mason, 72, of Kingston, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Kingston Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Dorothy Radley Mason. Dorothy was a long time resident of Wildwing Park in Catskill, but most recently from Kingston. She was retired from the Ulster Greene ARC work program. Dorothy is survived by her three brothers, Robert Mason of Nassau, NY, William Mason of Rensselaer and James Mason of Albany, two sisters, June Hagadone of Gloversville and Loretta Vroman Bartow of Hamden, NY, and a great niece, Elizabeth Vroman of Cairo. Many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a twin brother, who died at birth and two sisters, Carrie Secor and Carolann Mason. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. at 12:00 noon. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Ulster Greene ARC, 471 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401.
