Dorothy Mae Kiff

Dorothy (Scheffel) Kiff, 86, of Kingston, died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Golden Hill Health Care Center. She was born July 11, 1925 in Kingston, to the late Henry and Rebecca (Benson) Scheffel.




She was married to Joel M. Kiff, they wed on June 23rd 1946.




Dot was a member of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Kingston and was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers.




In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter; Karen Manka of Kingston, her grandson Damon Manka, her sister, Virginia Burger of Kingston, as well as several nieces and nephews.




She is predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Fallon.




Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Ave, Kingston, NY 12401. Friends may call on Thursday from 1 to 2pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 104 Wurts St. Kingston. The funeral service will begin at 2pm with Rev. James Rowe, officiating.




In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 104 Wurts St., Kingston, NY 12401.
