Dorothy M. Eisele, 78, of Lomontville, NY, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was born February 22, 1943 in Queens, NY, daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Beck) Maher.
Dorothy was married to George Eisele, who passed away on November 10, 2007. She was a graduate of Baldwin High School. She later worked for Hofstra University for over 20 years before retiring and then working for MetLife in Kingston, NY. She was a former member of the Lomontville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Dorothy enjoyed camping, especially at Country Roads Campground in Gilboa, NY
She is survived by her children, Christine Eisele of FL, Matthew Eisele and his wife Angela of CT, Brian Eisele and his wife Lauren of NY, Jamison Eisele and his wife Blanche of Rosendale, NY, her grandchildren, Alyssa Eisele, Tyler Creegan, Jordan Creegan, Ashley Eisele, Dylan Eisele, Maya Reetz, Dylan Reetz, and one grandchild on the way, as well as three great grandchildren and her son in law, David Reetz. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Reetz, and her brothers, Robert and Edward Maher.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 2pm to 5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Monday February 7, 2022 at St. Joseph's RC Church, 242 Wall Street, Kingston, NY 12401. Burial will follow in Hurley Cemetery, Hurley, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen foundation at
