Dorothy E. Smith

Dorothy E. Smith, 100, of 99 Golden Hill Drive, Kingston, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at The Golden Hill Health Care Facility. She was born October 6, 1909 in Kingston, NY, to the late Abram and Bertha VanKleeck. She was married to the late Earl E. Smith. She is survived by her three children, Edward Smith and his wife Jeanine of Roxbury, NY, Marjorie Triebel and her husband William of Georgetown, TX, and Patricia Rowe of Stone Ridge, NY, as well as eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.




Dorothy was one of the founders of the Ulster County Genealogical Society located at the Hurley Reformed Church. She enjoyed painting, crafts, flowers, and local history.
