Dorothy E Savaria

Dorothy E Savaria, 86, of 315 Union Center Road, Ulster Park, NY, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at Wingate at Ulster in Highland, NY. She was born February 6, 1924 in Vails Gate, NY to the late Emory and Ester Barton Ball.

She was married to the late Earl Henry Savaria who died in 1983.

Dorothy was a Seamstress before retiring in 1981 for International Ladies Garment Workers Union, NYC. Dorothy was a parishioner of Union Center Community Church. She also worked as docent at the Klyne-Esopus Historical Society Museum.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Cheryle R. Hansen and her husband Robert of Ulster Park, NY, a sister Ann Carpenter of Marlboro, NY, three grandsons, Gary Warden and his wife Janet of Ulster Park, NY, Robert Hansen Jr. of Ulster Park NY, and Kristoffer Hansen of Ulster Park, NY. Also one great-granddaughter Mya Jonelle Warden of Ulster Park, NY

Services will be held at 10:15am on Sunday March 28th at the Union Center Community Church, Union Center Road, Ulster Park, NY with the Pastor Joseph Mitchell officiating.


In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Dorothy's honor to the Klyne-Esopus Historical Society Museum, PO Box 751, Port Ewen, NY 12466
