Dora M. Weeks

Dora M. Weeks, 87, of Nicholas Avenue died Friday, November 05, 2004 at Kingston Hospital. She was born in Kingston on September 21, 1917, a daughter of the late Jesse and Laura Ferguson Tyler. For many years she worked at the former Albany Avenue Sanitarium, Kingston. For over 50 years Mrs. Weeks lived at her Nicholas Avenue residence. She cherished this. She was an animal lover of her pets and those in nature. Her husband Floyd Weeks Sr. died November 13, 1963; a son Floyd Weeks Jr. died January 4, 2002. Loving mother of Roberta Gulnick; mother in law of Dolores Weeks; sister of Walter Tyler; grandmother of Debra Kahmke, Cynthia Fuoco, Donald Floyd Weeks, Sheryl Venticinque, Floyd Gulnick and Burton Gulnick Jr.; great grandmother of Russel R. and William F. Kahmke, Noelle L., Chantelle J., Gabrielle and Saverio Fuoco; Shawn M. and Shannon N. Weeks, Aleksandr and Serena Venticinque. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Reposing at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Monday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 12:00 PM, Rev. Henry Wuerz will officiate. Interment in Hurley Cemetery.
