Donna Maria Zeeh

Donna Maria Zeeh, 74 of Highwoods, Saugerties, N.Y. passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving husband Bill and sister Margie.

She was born on April 17, 1948 in Kingston and was the daughter of the late Donald J. Steward Sr. and June L. Dunham.  Donna is also preceded in death by her brother Donald Steward Jr. and sister Robin Steward. Donna was married on Oct 8, 1977 to William J. Zeeh. They celebrated 44 years of marriage before her passing.

Donna was the most generous, loving wife and caring person. She would always put everyone ahead of herself.  Donna worked at Rondout Savings Bank and retired after 36 years as an Officer of the bank and Assistant Secretary of the bank. She served over the years on the board of People's Place and The American Heart Association. She loved playing golf and competing in 2 and 4 team events especially with her good friend Jeanette Provenzano. She was a member of Twaalfskill Golf Club for 18 years.

Besides her family and friends, her greatest joys in life included her log home, gardening, and taking care of her two dogs and two cats over the years, Benji, Winston, Lacey and Lexi. Her favorite vacations were going to the Saratoga Spa and area with her husband Bill. 

She is survived by her husband William J. Zeeh, her sister Marjorie Playford and husband Bill, her brother-in-law Peter P. Zeeh and wife Kay, her sister-in-law Sharon Steward, her niece Ashley Playford-Johnson who was always in Donna's heart, as well as many nieces and nephews, and her two best friends over the years, Brian Smith and Sandy Snyder.  

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where friends and family may visit on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 10:30am to 12pm. Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY. A tribute for Donna may be found at www.KeyserFuneralService.com, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for her family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donna’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
