Beacon - Donald Van Demark Jr., formerly of Kingston died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at home. He was 49. He was born in Kingston, a son of Donald and Audrey Van Demark. He was a graduate of Kingston High School where he played basketball. He also played Little League and Moose All Star baseball. Donald had been employed as a Direct Support Assistant for Taconic DDSO until his disability. Surviving in addition to his parents is his fiancé, Angela Milligan; his children, Donovan, Christopher, Brandon, Saniyah, Sierra and Sean; two sisters, Tracy Harvard of Randolph, MA, Brenda Van Demark Gordon of Antioch, CA; three brothers, Roderick Gray of Saugerties, Michael Gray of Kingston and David Van Demark of Lovett, TX. Also surviving, his paternal grandmother, Thelma Van Demark; two grandchildren, Cassidy and Ayriana and many nieces and nephews. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral and Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston. Friends will be received on Sunday at the Pointe of Praise Family Life Center from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at which time a memorial service will be conducted.
