Donald E. Cole

Donald E. Cole, 77, of Port Ewen, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born July 14, 1936 in Englewood, NJ, the son of the late John Albert and Doris (Cimino) Cole.

He was married to his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia (Bradshaw) Cole.

Donald was the owner & operator of Cole Heating and Air Conditioning in Port Ewen for over fifty years. He was a former Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals in Town of Esopus, and member of the Water Front Advisory Committee. He was also a former President of the Hudson Valley Arabian Horse Club.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Laura Lee Gregory of Northvale, NJ, Donna Lee Blais of New Paltz, Donald E. Cole Jr. of Highland, Christopher A. Cole of Cresskill, NJ, Patricia R. Bruck of Kingston, a sister, Janice Fischer of Florida, 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, where friends may call on Thursday January 9th from 3 to 7pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday January 10th, at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
