Dolores Mazzola

Dolores Mazzola of Alder Court, Town of Ulster died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 76. She was born in Brooklyn on January 1932, a daughter of the late Victor and Mary Rizzo Tricarico. Formerly of Canarsie, Brooklyn, Mrs. Mazzola married Joseph Mazzola on January 15, 1989. An area resident since 1998, she was a parishioner of St. Catherine Laboure Church. Mrs. Mazzola was a member of the Altar-Rosary Society and a Eucharistic Minister. Surviving are her husband Joseph Mazzola; her twin sisters Ginger Brown of High Falls and Gloria Heyman of Brooklyn; three nephews Gregory Brown, Jason and Ryan Heyman; one niece Lori DuBord; nine grand nieces and grand nephews Michael, Jillian and Justin Brown, Dylan, Nicole, Danielle and Lauren DuBord, Reed and Casiey Heyman. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral procession will form on Friday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine Laboure Church, Lake Katrine at 9:45 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benedictine Hospital Foundation, 105 Mary's Ave., Kingston, NY 12401. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
