Dolores Maggiore

Dolores Maggiore died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Kingston Hospital. She was 75. She was born in Kingston on January 29, 1930, a daughter of the late David L. and Mary C. Kohler Heaney. She married Anthony J. Maggiore on October 17, 1948. From 1965 till retirement in 1990, Mrs. Maggiore worked in the customer service department at Sears and Roebuck. A parishioner of St. Catherine Laboure Church, she belonged to the Rosary Society. Her husband died June 6, 2002. One brother Robert P. Heaney and one son in law Roger Lindhurst both died previously. Surviving are two daughters Cathy Lindhurst of Saugerties and Mary Rose Schermerhorn and her husband Robert of Christmas, Florida; one son Vincent D. Maggiore and his wife Fonda; one sister Betty Charmello of Ruby; nine grandchildren Michelle Lindhurst Paff, Lori Anne Lindhurst Adorno, Tricia Lindhurst Watson, Nicole Lindhurst, Vincent, Anthony, Toni Lynn and Shawn Michael Maggiore, Stacey Lynn Schermerhorn Larkin and Bobbi Jo Schermerhorn; nine great grandchildren Megan, Brian and Emily Adorno, Kyla, Christian and Carolina Watson, Anthony and Roger James Paff and Adam Arthur Larkin; many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine Laboure Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
