Dolores H. Brown

Dolores (Jones) Brown, 79, of Mt Marion, NY, died Thrusday, August 2, 2012 at Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston. She was born August 22, 1932 in Kingston to the late Raymond and Mildred Jones. She was married to Robert A. Brown who passed away earlier this year on February 10th.


Dolores was a member of the Jehovah's witnesses Kingston Congregation. Dolores enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, cooking for family and friends and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and generosity. Over the years Dolores was employed at Hercules in Port Ewen, Rotron, Micronetics and retired from Gateway Ind. in 2006.

Dolores is survived by her children, Robert Brown and his wife Brenda of Raleigh, N.C., Charles Brown of Kingston, Charlene Brown of Kingston and Frederick Brown of Mt. Marion, her sister-in-law's, Christine Fitzgerald of NYC, Alice Byrd of Orlando Fla., Ruth Brown of Bluffton, S.C., grand children, Danielle Holland of Kingston, Aaron Brown of Kansas City, MO., Craig Brent of Port Ewen, Timothy Brown of Kingston, Sierra Brown of Raleigh N.C. and Britney Schleede of Kingston, a dear friend Mary Hayes of Mt. Marion as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son Cordell Brown.

Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where calling hours will be held on Monday August 6th from 12pm to 1pm with the service at 1pm. Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.
