Dina Ida Taylor

Dina Ida Taylor, 88, of Kingston, formerly of Frederick, Maryland, passed away peacefully Saturday evening March 9, at her residence. She was born August 14, 1924 in Bremen, Germany, the daughter of the late William and Berta Lübke Meier. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Taylor, who died in December 2005.


Mrs. Taylor was a magna cum laude graduate of Mt. St. Mary's College, Emmitsburg, MD with a B.S. in business administration. She had been employed by the State of Maryland until her retirement.

Mrs. Taylor had been an active member of the Potomac Valley Ski Club until well into her seventies and she was an avid traveler.

She is survived by her son Richard L. Taylor and his wife Jennifer, grandchildren Maria, Ryan and Jordan Taylor. A son, Mark Taylor, predeceased her in January 1994.

Entrusted to the care of the Eric Keyser, A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, Kingston, the service will be private with inurnment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, MD.
