Diane Lacasse, 83, of Hurley passed away at her home on March 7, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Suffern, NY, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth & Helen Mitch Post.
Diane was retired from the Ulster County Social Services where she had worked for several years. She was very active in the Ulster County Republican Party and was a treasure and secretary of the Hurley Republican Club. She was recognized by the Ulster Republican Committee. She was very active in 4H and was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church where she participated in Adoration at Immaculate Conception Church.
Diane was an avid golfer, bowler and took great pride in her family and was always willing to help.
Diane is survived by her two brothers, Barry & Alan Post, her three sisters Judy Fatigante, Eleanor Fatigante, and Arlene Garlick. Many Nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents. Diane is predeceased by her husband Kenneth Lacasse, who passed away in 2021, her two brothers Philip & Kenny Post.
Diane will be reposing at the Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Sunday March 13, 2022, from 2 to 5 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Kingston.
Inurnment at a later date will be privately held.
