Diana Stigbert

Diana DeeDee Stigbert, of Kingston, NY, died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the Kingston Hospital. She was a graduate of SUNY New Paltz, having earned both her bachelors of Arts and Masters in Art Education. Mrs. Stigbert had been employed by the Kingston City Schools Consolidated as an Art Teacher for over 30 years, most of those years having been spent at the Kingston High School. She retired in 1995.

She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Kingston Teachers Federation; she was involved with the Pink Flamingo organization,


Mrs. Stigbert is survived by her husband Richard E. Stigbert, her sister - in - law Carole A. Dent of Kingston, her niece Deborah L. Stradley and her husband Dr. Daniel J. Stradley of Grove City, Ohio, her nephew Barratt Kit Dent and his wife Lisa J. Dent and their children George and Grace Dent. She was the daughter of the late George H. and Dora Tripp Dent, and sister of the late George F. Dent.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, 326 Albany Ave. Kingston, services will be private.
