Diana G. Travis, 57, of Marlboro, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 29, 1952 in Kingston, to Frances (Sgroi) Ostrander of Kingston and the late Frank N. Ostrander.

She was a graduate of Kingston High School, class of 1970. Diana was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church of Marlboro. For many years she had worked in the local mortgage industry, she had last worked for Valuation Consultants of Newburgh. She loved crafts, crocheting, spending time with her family and friends, traveling and was happiest at the beach, in the sun and on the sand.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her daughter Tari - ann Ercolani and her husband Michael, Milton, NY, son Benjamin Trapani IV, Marlboro, daughter Nicole "Peach" R. Travis, Milton, sister Shelley Baulsir and her husband Howard, Saugerties, brother Michael H. Ostrander, Santa Cruz, CA, grandchildren Michael and Bryn Rose Ercolani, Milton, NY and nephews Eric and Bryan Baulsir of Saugerties and nieces Rachel and Anne - Frances Ostrander of Santa Cruz, Ca.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Friends may call on Thursday from 6 - 8 pm and on Friday from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8. The procession will form on Saturday at 10:15 am and proceed to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Broadway, and Kingston, where at 11:00 am a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial in Montrepose Cemetery.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Nicole Travis College Fund, c/o Shelley Baulsir, 3 Blue Hills Court, Saugerties, NY 12477.
