Dennis G. Sell

Dennis George Sell passed away on Monday March 6, 2023 at the age of 76 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 24, 1947 in Allentown PA to Evelyn Sell Keck. Dennis was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn Keck; his stepfather, Russel Keck; and his grandparents, Frederick and Lizzie Sell.

Dennis graduated from Louis E. Dieruff High School in 1964 and then attended technical school. Upon completion of this technical training, Dennis became an employee of IBM and moved to Kingston, NY, his “hometown” for the rest of his life. While at IBM, he held various positions at locations in Kingston, Poughkeepsie and Fishkill. After thirty-one years of IBM employment, Dennis retired as a tech writer. He then held a similar position at Sykes for eight years.

Left to cherish Dennis’ memory are his daughter Denielle Zehnick (Joey) of Kingston, NY; his significant other, Ann of Highland Mills, NY; his absolute treasures, his granddaughters Josie, Mayzlyn, and Hayzlee; and many relatives and friends.

Dennis enjoyed skeet shooting, cooking, reading, golfing, and traveling to visit our national parks. His friends and family were often the beneficiaries of his culinary talents which included pizza parties, surf and turf barbeques and crab leg dinners.

As per Dennis’ wishes there will be no visitation or memorial services. Instead, friends and loved ones can remember him by making a donation to Lung Cancer Research Foundation, 501 7^th Avenue Suite 230, New York, NY 10018.
