Debra Schwenk, 63, of Kingston, died Friday, April 9, 2021 at home, surrounded by her family.

Born in the Bronx, she was a daughter of the late Harold Schwenk and Dorothea Carlo Schwenk of Kingston. Debra worked at the Department of Defense as a secretary. She like to travel, do arts and crafts, volunteer for the Blood Mobile and entertain patients wearing a clown outfit she made. She also liked to go to tea parties at Birches at Chambers community room.

In addition to her mother, Debra is survived by two brothers, Glenn Schwenk of Kingston and Dwayne Schwenk of North Carolina.

Debra will be reposing at the Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 9-11 AM.

The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Entombment will take place in the Wiltwyck Mausoleum.

Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home is honored to assist the family of Debra with the arrangements.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
