Debra S. Hasenflue of Eddy St., Saugerties died October 24, 2011 at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA. She was 52.
Debra was born in Kingston, a daughter of Gloria Benjamin Perrault of Kingston and the late James Perrault. A graduate of Onteora High School, Debra previously worked at Rotron and Woodstock Chimes. Prior to her disability she was a greeter at Wal-Mart, Town of Ulster.
Debbie loved being called "Nana" and enjoyed bowling. After being together for 16 years, she married Fred Hasenflue on June 12, 2007.
In 2010 Debbie was placed on the transplant listing for a new heart. Prior to transplant, earlier this month, Debbie was the recipient of an LVAD (Left Ventricalar Assist Systems device.) Over this time Debbie was able to enjoy life to the fullest.
Beloved wife of Fred Hasenflue, mother of Kyle Scheringer of Saugerties, step mother of Christopher Hasenflue of Kingston, sister of Sharon Perrault and her partner Stephen Kellogg of Accord, Laurie Daly and her husband Daniel of Olivebridge, and Linda Adams and her husband Robert of Kingston, grandmother of "Little Kyle", "Little Chris" and Nia. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Reposing at Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday from 3:00 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 6:00 PM. Private inurnment will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
