Debbie Lyn Golgoski

May 10, 1955 — June 4, 2013

Debbie Lyn (Allen) Golgoski, 58, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at home with her family by her side. She was born May 10, 1955 in Kingston, NY to the late Ethan and Martha (Farrier) Allen.She married her loving husband of 38 years, Alan Golgoski, on November 23, 1974. Debbie was a Kingston High School Graduate, Class of 1974, and worked in the medical records department at Benedictine Hospital for 36 years.




Debbie had a green thumb and took pride in her gardening. She was an avid reader and possessed a passion for American history. Her competitive spirit made her a fierce teammate on all volleyball courts, and she enjoyed spinning/cycling later in life.




In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Alan Steven Golgoski and his wife Sabrina of Astoria, NY, and daughter, Farrier Lyn Gathen and her husband Brian of Kingston, a grandson, George William Gathen, her siblings, Elaine Wolff, Joan Martin and her husband Donald, Judith Brandt and her husband Charles, Vestella Madison and her husband Donald, Ethana Bosch, William Allen and his wife Linda, Frank Allen and his wife Rosemary, Tomi Jean Beck and her husband Robert, Linda Coddington and her husband Edward, Larry Allen and his wife Dolores, and Steven Allen and his wife Patricia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Ethan Allen Jr.





Debbie is entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends and family may call on Sunday from 2-6pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday, 10 am, at Old Dutch Reformed Church in Kingston. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
