Debbie L. Walsh, of Station Road, Hurley died Monday, January 6, 2014 at home. She was 60. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late George Swehla and the late Ruth Turner Taylor. Debbie was a dedicated Teaching Assistant in the Montessori Program of George Washington School in Kingston. She enjoyed drawing, painting, writing and reading and gardening. Surviving is her husband of 44 years, Robert Walsh; three daughters, Alicia Walsh of Kingston, Christy Walsh of Lake Katrine and Merci (Jonathan) Sciarrino of Kerhonkson; one son, Robert (Kristi) Walsh of Great Barrington, Ma; two brothers, Joseph and Michael Taylor, both of Kerhonkson and two sisters, Ruth Wright of Hudson and Dorothy Dunham of Accord. Eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson also survive. Entrusted to the care of Paul Geary of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave., Kingston where friends will be received on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM. Graveside services will be held in the spring at High Falls Cemetery.
