Dean Alexander Meeks-Jones

Dean Alexander Meeks-Jones of Warren St., Hudson died Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Kingston Hospital. He was 48. He was born in Kingston on November 4, 1957 a son of the late Paul and Martha Evans Jones. Mr. Meeks-Jones, for many years, worked at Columbia County News. A lover of horses, he was also a groomer for area horse farms. His brother David Meeks died previously. Surviving are his dedicated companion Lori Walker of Hudson; two brothers Matthew Meeks of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Melvin Meeks of Kingston; two sisters JoAnn Bryan of New Orleans and Judy Shabazz of Atlanta, Georgia; one aunt Weonta Fitzgerald of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will gather at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home on Friday at 11:30 AM. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
