David Michael Guido, age 67, died at Kingston Hospital on May 23, 2021 after a lengthy & courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. The son of Vincent Guido, Sr and Ruth Senor Guido, David was born on June 17, 1953 in Kingston, NY.

David was a 1971 graduate of Kingston High School. He went on to earn an Associate of Applied Science from Delhi University. Dave was a talented craftsman, home builder, and entrepreneur. His many enterprises include Zena Building Company, Cycletech, Acorn Processing and Witchtree Building Company. However, everyone who knew Dave would say his proudest accomplishments were his loving children & grandchildren. He will forever be remembered as a master of all trades, and a creative & beautiful soul who was an animated storyteller right up to his final days.

He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Pasternak and her husband Brett of Kingston, his son Matthew and his wife Jaclyn of Manhattan, NY. David was also the proud grandfather of Johanna Pasternak and Julian Guido. He is also survived by his aunt Anne McCloskey, his brother Mark, his sister-in law Patty Guido and many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Vincent, Jr.

Dave's family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the team at Hudson Valley Hospice for providing nurturing and supportive care which enabled David to remain in his home comfortably until the very end. Without his Hospice team he would not have had to opportunity to bond with his young grandchildren, and Matthew & Danielle will forever be thankful for this.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY, 12401, where family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 27th, 2021 from 4pm to 7pm.
