David H. Gally

David H. Gally of Scudder Ave., Town of Ulster, died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Golden Hill Health Care Center. He was 75. Born in Kingston, he was ason of the late Samuel and Bertha Herman Gally. He was a graduate of Kingston High School and later attended Union University, Albany. On September 2, 1960, David married Paula Weiner. He was a Real Estate broker for Gally Real Estate and he later appraised mobile homes. David was a member of Temple Emanuel, former member of Town of Ulster Kiwanis Club, Past President of Ulster County Multiple Listing Service and a member of National Realtors Association. Beloved husband of Paula Weiner Gally, loving father of Marilyn Gally Marlin and her husband David of Morrison, CO and Eric S. Gally, his wife Karen of Rockville, MD, grandfather of Everett and Miles Gally, brother of Harris Gally and his wife Madeline of Boynton Beach, FL, nephew of Evelyn Sommer of Brooklyn. Several cousins, nieces and nephews survive. A funeral service will conducted on Sunday, at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. at 1:00 Pm, by Rabbi Yael Romer. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the residence on Sunday from 7-9 PM, Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with services each night at 7:00 PM.
