David Coviello

David J. Coviello of Rosendale, NY sadly passed away on November 1, 2024 at the age of 63. Dave is survived by his wife/soulmate of 35 years, Amy Coviello and beloved son, Alexander Coviello, residing together in Rosendale, NY. 

Dave was born in Beacon, NY on July 13, 1961. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and June Coviello of Beacon, NY, his sister, Gina Coviello Merola (Michael), nieces, Christina and Emma, sister-in-law, Nancy Jacques, nephews, Scott Smith (Jamie), Derek Smith (Jillienne Lefever), great nieces, Paisley, Piper and Saide and great nephew, Bodie. He also leaves behind many close friends. 

He attended Beacon High School and graduated in 1979. Went on to further his education at SUNY Delhi where he received his associates degree in Refrigeration/Electrical Instrumentation and Controls. In 1985, straight out of college, he was hired at DJ Heating AC in Marlboro for 35 years, continued on to work at Archibald’s HVAC Kingston and currently worked for JSP in Kingston part time. 

His biggest passion was for his music. Dave was a very talented and skilled musician, playing a wide variety of instruments as well as music. His love was for his electric guitars, playing in many bands. He started Stampede in H.S., Xtreme band, the Rockit Band, American Dog, Ivory Rose, Bosco and the Storm. He was currently playing in Plan B Project. He came across many talented musicians along the way that became close friends. 

Dave’s proudest moments were marrying his wife Amy in 1989, buying their home in 1989 and the birth of his son, Alexander in 1999.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 3pm to 5pm. A service will take place at 5pm. A tribute for David may be found at www.KeyserFuneralService.com, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for his family.
