Darryl Lang

Darryl Lang, 75, of Connelly, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Hudson Valley Nursing Center in Highland. He was born September 9, 1937 in Kingston to the late Kenneth and Emma Lang. Darryl was married to his loving wife of 44 years, Sharon (Winchell) Lang. He worked as a truck driver for Met Life in Kingston for many years until his retirement. He was a 50 year life member of Rapid Hose Fire Company, a life member of Kingston Exempt Fireman's Association and a life member of Ulster County Volunteer Fireman's Association. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Darryl R. Lang and his wife Ruth of Connelly and Jason Lang of Connelly, his grandchildren, Alyssa & Michael Lang of Connelly as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings, John Lang, Beverly Dillon, and his twin brother Donald Lang.

Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, where friends may call on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.
