Daniel E. Caruso

Daniel E. Caruso, 61, of Lake Katrine, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. Born in the Bronx, he was a son of the late Sabino "Danny" & Catherine Reilly Caruso. He was the former manager of the DeMicco Motors and the current assistant manager of Begnal Motors. Danny was a big hearted person who had a great sense of humor and never strayed far from his Bronx roots. He loved his family, friends, cars, the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He will never be forgotten and will forever live in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Danny is survived by his wife of eight years, Jillian Brackett Caruso whom he married on July 28, 2007, his step daughter, Jada Wu of Brooklyn, four sisters, Maureen Caruso of the Bronx, Barbara Nasser and her husband Frederick of the Bronx, Nancy Caruso of the Bronx and Catherine R. Caruso of Tappan, NY. Two nephews, Michael S. Almaani, Kevin Nasser and one niece, Elizabeth Nasser also survive. Danny will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
