Daniel Basch

Pompano Beach, FL- Daniel Basch, formerly of Kingston died Wednesday, October 01, 2003 at Northridge Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was 78. He was born August 8, 1925 in Kingston, a son of the late Louis and Lena Barnovitz Basch. He was a WW II veteran, having served in the Marine Corps. He was a retired salesman. He was a member of Congregation Ahavath Israel in Kingston. Surviving is his wife, Mary “Chickie” Pavero Basch of Pompano Beach, FL and two sisters, Beatrice Keller of Richmond, VA and Lillian Kitia of Kingston. Many nieces and nephews also survive. A brother, Joseph Basch and two sisters, Sophie Beck and Esther Bahl died previously. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday at 10:30 am in Montrepose Cemetery. Rabbi Melody Johnston will officiate. Arrangements are by Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston.
