Cynthia Joan Nosko Gildea

The Gildea family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.


A funeral procession will form 10:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am at Saint Mary's Church.

Cynthia Joan Nosko Gildea, 50of Bloomington, New York passed away unexpectedly Thursday April 19, 2012. Born on October 29, 1961 in Titusville, PA, she is the daughter of Ruth Nosko of Titusville, PA and the late Anthony Nosko.


A graduate of Titusville High School, Cynthia was an outstanding track runner and member of the Titusville High School's dance team the Rockettes. She went on to graduate from Penn State in 1983 and began a career with IBM and then on to SUNY New Paltz to complete a degree in Education. Her career in education was interrupted by her illness. Her hobbies included photography, videography and arts and crafts. She was a active member of Saint Mary's Church.


In addition to her mother, Cynthia in survived by her husband, Kevin Gildea of Bloomington; her four children, Kathleen, Michael, Emily and Shannon Gildea; her sisters and brother, Carolyn Bienio, Veronica Nosko, Bonita Coats, Theresa Lyon, Julia Murray, Jeanne Harmon and Anthony Nosko.
