Corinne Janeczek of Merilina Ave., Kingston died Monday, January 23, 2012 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 77.
A native and lifelong Kingston resident, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Theresa Gerrain Perry. A Kingston High School graduate, Class of '51, Corinne married Stanley V. Janeczek on July 12, 1953.
After working at I.B.M., Kingston, Corinne began a 38 year career for the City of Kingston Water Department. She retired in 2002.
Over the years Corinne volunteered with the City's New Years Eve parties, the Kingston High School Reunion Committee and performed with Coach House Players. She attended Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph's Churches.
Beloved wife of Stanley V. Janeczek who died June 24, 2002; loving mother of Triscinda Korol and her husband Barry of Hurley, and the late Kathy L. Janeczek who died September 3, 2009; grandmother of Amy and Adam Korol, sister of Vincent Perry of Kingston and the late Mallio Perry, Lena Nagy, Rose Naccarato, Louise Denter and Elvia Shader. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins (in NY and CT) also survive.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. The funeral procession will form on Saturday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
