Coral Lee Grothkopp

Coral Lee Grothkopp, 83, of Tillson, died Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Coral had been the Chief Accountant at Benedictine Hospital, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, had sung in the church choir, had been a Sunday school teacher, and was a member the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Left footers Square Dancers for 25 years...

She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Grothkopp; he died on June 28th, 2006. Born January 12, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Norton) Carroll.

Coral is survived by her son Glenn William Grothkopp and his wife Karen of Ulster Park, daughters; Sandra Lee MacDonald and her husband Wayne of Stone Ridge and Karen Louise Krom and her husband Richard of St. Remy, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eleanor DeBlanco.


Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Friends may call today from 3 - 7 pm. The service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial in Montrepose Cemetery.
