Cora C. DeCicco Martin, 96, of Fort Mill, SC, where she resided with her daughter and family for the past 4 years. Previously a resident of Kingston, NY for 92 years. She was born June 15, 1928, in East Kingston. The daughter of the late John and Ada (Flanigan) DeCicco. She was the loving wife to the late Robert B. Martin, of Kingston.
Cora was employed by Kingston City Schools as a monitor for 37 years at Meagher School and a foster grandparent at Meagher, Kennedy and Chambers Schools. She was a member of the KWBA and bowled in the Early Bird League.
Cora is survived by her daughter, Barbara Ambrose (Richard) of Fort Mill, SC, son William Martin (Michele) of Kingston, as well as grandchildren, Jessica DeAngelis, William Martin (Anrika), Kristen Quick (Gordon), Corey Martin, Dustin Sisco, and great grandchildren, Gordon Quick, Allie DeAngelis, and Julius Quick. She loved them all, but most of all her great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. She is predeceased by her siblings, Rosemarie Parise, Frank, William, and George DeCicco, Celia Motsey and Mary D. Costello.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11am with burial following in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
