Connie Conti

Connie Conti, 95, of Hurley, NY, passed peacefully in her sleep on Monday, April 8, 2024. She was born on March 27, 1929, in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Frederick Milidantri and Margaret Iacobuzio. 

Connie was married to her loving husband of 69 years, Salvatore Conti, they wed on September 9, 1951. Sal passed away in 2021. She taught at the New York Conservatory for the Arts and previously owned and taught dance at Connies Dance Studio in Bellmore, NY. She was loved by generations of students. 

She was a lover of the arts and besides teaching dance she loved listening to all kinds of music, especially opera. She loved the theater and designed costumes for many productions, including three world premieres. She also loved to travel and learn about other cultures. 

She is survived by her children, Richard Conti, Diane Stein, and Randy Conti, and their spouses, Ellen, Jeffrey, and Doug, her grandchildren, Matthew, Joanna, Andrew, and Katherine, and their spouses, Miranda, Rob, Hannah, and Jeff, as well as her 5 great grandchildren, Benjamin, Stella, Eddie, Daniela, and Cora. 

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 5 pm to 9 pm. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 11am. Entombment will follow at Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.
