Clara K. Wright formally of Lomontville entered eternal life Wednesday, June 25th 2014 in the company of her loving family and friends at Ten Broeck commons, she was 95. Clara has lived at Ten Broeck for the past two years, prior to this she resided in Kingston. She was born in Lomontville on May 17, 1919. Daughter of the late John and Deliah Degraff Hasenflue. Clara married the love of her life, Walter Wright, on October 18, 1938. Together they had five children. Walter passed on in 1955. Clara is predeceased by her daughter Emily May, her brothers, Earl, Edward, Donald, John, James, and Charles Hasenflue, her sisters, Esther Pollak, Margaret Bell, and Eva Broadhead. The memories of her love shall live on in her children, grandchildren, great-grand children, and great-great grandchild, forever; she will always be remembered for her witty sense of humor and compassion for her family. Clara attended The Community Church of High Falls. Surviving are her sisters Jennie Smith of Lomontville and Elsie Vasilevich of FL, her brother Frank Hosenflue of Lomontville and her children, Joan Whitney, Dorothy Krom, Robert Wright, and Walter Wright, along with multiple grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Entrusted to the care of Paul Geary of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston where friends will be received on Monday from 2 -4 & 7 - 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Aaron Schulte at the funeral home on Tuesday, 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in North Marbletown Cemetery.
